Greek Villa

A project from the heart, and three years in the making, Villa Rafaela on the island of Kefalonia in the Ionian Sea is very near complete.

Villa Rafaela’s clients are near and dear to me and I will be lucky enough to spend many lazy summers here for years to come.

This is a forever home, with a focus on the magnificent view and expansive unfolding gardens designed by Athenian landscape architect studio Utopia Landscapes.

We focused on artisanal finishes, natural texture and classic fixtures and furnishings sourced
from Europe, South Africa and Australia within
a whimsical pastel palette.

Completed in July 2019, this villa will age beautifully just like a good wine and the garden will grow and take a life of its own in the next few years.

These happy snaps will be upgraded to professional images in time, however I hope the sweetness and majesty of this beautiful property still shines through.
